Funding your K.C.I.M.S Course

The fees for the current academic year will be as per the notification of the concerned authorities. Candidates will be required to pay fees as prescribed by the University / SSS / Govt. such as examination fee, enrolment fee, etc. from time to time. Fees may be paid by DD/Pay order/ Banker’s Cheque in favour of K.C.College of Engineering & Management Studies & Research, Thane-E.

Eligibility Criteria

1 51% seats of sanctioned intake are reserved for Punjabi Minority students
2 Sanctioned intake of our college 60
a. Seats to be admitted by DTE -17
b. Punjabi Minority Quota -31, Institute level admission – 12
3 CET Advertisement in the leading Newspaper by DTE – State Government
4 CET or any Equivalent Exam.
5 Declaration of CET or any Equivalent Exam .And submission of online application forms as per DTE Centralized Admission Process ( CAP )
6 Our advertisement in the leading newspaper for inviting applications forms for Punjabi Minority seats & Institutional seats.
7 Issue and submission of application forms for Punjabi Minority Quota / Institutional Seats.

9 Centralized Allotment under CAP
a. For the rounds of admission under Centralized Allotment Process
b. (CAP) by DTE.
c. Students are requested to refer the DTE admission prospectus and their website for necessary information procedure of admission and also advised to follow
    the same very carefully.
10 Admission of Centralized (CAP) allotted students in this institute by paying prescribed fees and submission of necessary documents, issue of fee receipts etc.
11 Up to the last permissible date, we offer admissions to the centralized allotted student’s .After that date we have to stop the admission of CAP Rounds.
12 Calculation of the vacancies remaining after offering admissions to CAP students and the seats remaining vacant due to the cancellation of admission by the students.( Refund of fees to the students cancelling their admission shall be as per the rules and regulations of DTE-Govt. of Maharashtra)
13 Our admission in the leading newspaper for the admission against VACANT and cancellation seats.
14 Issue and submission of application forms for the admission against vacant and cancellation seats.
15 Preparing merit list of the students who apply for Admission against Vacant and cancellation seats. The separate merit list shall be displayed for Punjabi Minority Quota.
16 Display of each merit list on the notice board and on the website of the institute along with the detail information and instructions about reporting time, verification of document payment of fees etc.
17 Institute level admission round- for this round we call the students at our college Auditorium on a specified date and time along with the Demand Draft of required fee amount and all required original documents .Recall the Names and CET score as per the merit list of students and admit the students according to the vacant seats and cancelled seats and Punjabi minority quota seats available for admission.
18 Complete the admission process and inform DTE as per the deadlines of DTE.
The copies of the following documents should be enclosed along with the application at the time of submission.
1 One photograph of the applicant
2 Photocopy of the CET Scorecard
3 Documentary proof of belonging to Punjabi Minority (of Maharashtra state only), supported by an affidavit from the competent authority.
4 Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State if applicable.
The original and the attested copies of the following documents required at the time of admission
1 CET or any Equivalent Exam Scorecard.
2 Marks List of SSC
3 Marks List of HSC
4 Marks List of Graduation or its Equivalent Qualifying examination.
5 Passing/Degree certificate of the Graduation.
6 Institute leaving / Transference certificate
7 Proof of Nationality ( Birth Certificate / Domicile Certificate / School Leaving Passport )
8 Candidates except those from Mumbai University must obtain Eligibility Certificate from University of Mumbai at Kalina, Santacruz (East), Mumbai and Migration Certificate from their Home University.
9 Migrant Certificate (applicable for J & K Quota )
10 Documentary proof of belonging to Punjabi Minority of Maharashtra State, Supported by an affidavit from the competent authority & Domicile Certificate.
11 Gap certificate (If there is an educational gap due to any reason after passing the qualifying examination) by way of an affidavit.
12 If a candidate fails to submit the certificates within the prescribed period of time, the admission shall be treated as cancelled and no refund of fees shall be granted.
Basic Eligibility Criteria
Passed with minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate * or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree awarded by any of the Universities.
Candidates securing Non Zero Positive marks/score in MAH-MBA/MMS-CET or GMAT/CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT/AMMI (Conducted by AICTE)/Association CET/Any other equivalent CET will be eligible to get admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM course in the state of Maharashtra.
Abusive language/ comments in the campus or on social networking websites ( Eg . Facebook ) is strictly prohibited failing to which necessary disciplinary actions will be taken .
Anti Ragging – University Grants Commission Vide No. F .1-16 dated June 17 , 2009 reiterated the ban on ragging of students in Institutions of higher learning The students are therefore directed to resist from any kind of ragging .
Attendance of all lectures, internals, Seminars & Examinations are compulsory .A student who is not regular in attendance or fails to carry out his work to the Institute’s satisfaction is liable for cancellation of his term.
The students who do not have minimum required attendance of 75 % of actual lecture periods conducted or who do not show / satisfactory progress will not be allowed to appear for all examinations.
Cell phones should be switched off in the college campus .Usage of any kind of music or video player in the college campus /canteen is strictly prohibited.
Every bonafide student shall obtain identity card carrying his or her latest photograph and bearing the signature of the Managing Director which should be collected immediately after the admission. Every student should wear his identity card in the college campus .In case of loss or damage it should be immediately reported to the institute office.
No student is allowed to indulge in any political activities.
No meetings, gatherings or picnic will be conducted without the written approval of the Director.
Smoking, use of tobacco is any form and alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited.
Students should come in formal attire, 3/4th, shorts, skirts, revealing clothes are strictly prohibited.
Students should pay their fees in time.
Students should strictly follow the schedule displayed on the Notice Board from time to time.
No notice shall be put on the notice board without the permission of the Managing Director.
College is not responsible for any loss or damage of belonging of students.
Every student should take utmost care of the premises and the property of the institute .Any damage done to the property of the institute by the students is to be compensated individually or collectively.
Malpractice in the examination will be severely punished according to University Norms.
Celebration of festival inside the campus without prior permission is strictly prohibited.
Drop outs & pass outs are not allowed for sports/ technical / cultural activities of the college.
Switch off the Lights, Fan & AC’s before leaving the class rooms.
